Dr. Michael I Hertz, MD

Dr Hertz was unprofessional. Our baby had multiple genetic anomalies and termination was hardest decision we had to make. Dr. Hertz did not introduce himself nor made my wife and I comfortable in such a difficult time. He was not personable and had no bedside manners. He treated my wife as a number and on to the next person he went. My wife explained that he was pushy and very short with her when I wasn't allowed in the room with her. He did not even spend a couple minutes to go over options or the game plan to what she can expect. By far the worst experience. Do not go to him for termination of pregnancy. He is by far a huge mistake to deal with. Majority but not all of nurse staff are rude . Nurses fake empathy to you as they see this on a daily basis. Terra most likely a head nurse from the Southfield location is not caring and could care less what you say if you ask questions. I expressed my concerns to her and she did nothing but to indirectly argue back with me with excuses. Sure… there seemed to be a lot of troubled girls there aborting but my wife and I are good people and if they don't respect others I would at least think they would be able to see we're not rift rafts and that we should be treated with respect and dignity. Please learn from my mistake to come to this place. Do not attend the Northland family planning center as this doctor floats to all 3 locations.
