Does not follow up with you in an appropriate amount of time and just sends you to a ton of different specialists without explaining why or doing his own homework first to make sure it’s the right thing. Switched Drs and now I am much happier.

Dr. Michael Heru is an excellent internist. He takes the time to know his patients and explains anything I need to know. He has an excellent offices staff that put his patients at ease from the moment they walk into the office. He literally saved my life when he diagnosed that I had Legionnaire's disease and began to treat it immediately. If it were not for him, I would not be writing this.

Dr. Heru is very busy and thorough but I don't mind waiting because he cares about all of his patients. If I have to wait I know that he'll spend the time with me that is needed for my medical issue

With the exception of sometimes long waits prior to his moving (Waits primarily were due to walk-in nature of his then practice), nothing but the best. He is knowledgeable, thorough, informative, accurate diagnoses, thoroughly aware of my medical and personal history, and follows up as necessary. He explains his diagnoses and recommends treatment in terms that a layman can understand; if he is not knowledgeable about something, he will research the issue and follow up with you.

Excellent doctor. Spends enough to time to get to know you as a person and a patient. He continuously reevaluates your health, not just look at the moment. He sits down and listens to what you have to say.

Dr. Heru is an outstanding Doctor. He is an individual who thinks of his patients as more than just a body walking through his door. He takes time to discuss and talk with you your complete health. Dr. Heru works with you to develop a complete life plan. I would and have recommended him to others. He is the best :)
