Dr. Michael Edward Hiller, BS, DDS
Dr. Hiller began his orthodontic practice in Baton Rouge in 1989. He is a graduate of Catholic High School and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Dr. Hiller earned his doctorate degree from the LSU School of Dentistry in 1987 and was awarded academic excellence awards in Oral Medicine and Pharmacology. He was inducted into both the C. Edmund Kells and Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor societies.
The Louisiana Dental Association named Dr. Hillerthe Outstanding Dental School Graduate from the Class of 1987. Dr. Hiller earned his post-doctoral certification in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 1989. The American Association of Dental Research named him the recipient of the Excellence in Dental Research award for 1989.Dr. Hiller is recognized as a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics, a title attained by only 20% of practicing American orthodontists. Additionally, Dr. Hiller is a clinical …assistant professor on faculty at the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans where he teaches orthodontic theory and techniques to residents within the department of orthodontics.
Dr. Michael Hiller is a past president of the Cortana Kiwanis club and past member of the Board of Directors for Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge. He belongs to the Men’s Club of three Baton Rouge schools and serves as an Extraordinary Minister at the Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Dr. Hiller is married and has four children.
