Dr. Michael John Hilts, MD

The most caring, compassionate and thorough doctor I have ever had. He zeroed in on my RA diagnosis that most certainly has changed my life. I thank him everyday for leading me in the right direction for treatment.

It takes years to find a doctor as knowledgable and compassionate as Dr.Hilts. I see Dr. Hilts as both my primary care physician as well as my orthopedic specialist. He has been able to treat all of my needs for years. I have been living pain free without the mention of surgery or a handful of prescriptions several times a day . He was able to pinpoint my ailments and treat them effectively. Dr. Hilts 'listens' to what I tell him, actually listens! I wish I would have found him years ago!

Dr. Hilts has helped me tremendously. When I switched from another Doctor I literally said out loud the first visit with Dr. Hilts, "It really can't be this easy, why did my other Doctor make everything so hard." Dr. Hilts continues to make my life easier and has helped me in more ways than he will ever know. More than just being a great Doctor he is a good man.

dr. hilts is the doctor that you thank GOD you finally found. His ability to locate and treat problems is exceptional.Dr. hilts is a family doctor that treats orthopedic issues also. Although he is not a surgeon his ability to offer other options makes his experience even more valuable. i have been a patient of his for a long time. I first met him when he worked at Murphy Wainer when he moved to Piedmont Orthopedics I went with him. For several years i needed surgery but had no insurance. he did every thing he could to help me. i was able to work and funtion. Dr. Hilts has a extensive knowledge of joints. I had to have fluid drawn from my knees and receive injections, he never hurt me. Injections given in joints by even some of the most experienced doctors are often painful. If you are looking for a good doctor you won't find a better one.
