Dr. Michael Hoeman, MD

I seen Dr Hoeman for 30+ years he and his Nurse was the greatest team. He retired and since I have not been able to find a good Dr. He took time to listen and seemed to really care. He is and will be missed. Never be another one like him.

I came to this doctor to get back into the Cox Health system while waiting on a disability decision. I had previously moved when I was working before multiple re-injuries and had to take on doctors from another large health provider that ended up taking me off the medications that made me productive and I cannot consistently hold a job without it, which was the start of my disability. When returning to the Cox health system, Dr Hoeman ignored the previous medical history or the fact that I have multiple disabilities. He refused the requested medications and kept trying to prescribe the medications that failed on multiple attempts from other doctors (mostly because I cant function normally on tranquilizers) and I was told "I am not giving you the medications you want!" During the discussion he laughed and made smart-mouth remarks like he thinks he's better then the people he is treating. He refused to provide treatment for all issues without reason. He is very unprofessional and I feel… sorry for the staff that has to support him! I am requesting a referral to a doctor that will continue the treatment that took years to figure out what worked.

He and his nurse are caring professionals that will tend to your needs and spend time to listen to health complaints. They are thourough and respectful of your time while you are there and place your care ahead of the hospitals.
