In 2001 and 2006, Las Vegas Life, a monthly magazine, granted their Top Dentist awards. Dr. Hollingshead was honored both years in the Las Vegas and Summerlin issues. The Top Dentist Award is presented to dentists nominated by their peers for exemplary service.
Dr. Hollingshead is past president of the Southern Nevada Dental Society, and he sat on the State Board for six years. He was also the president and a board member for the American Cancer Society.
While Dr. Hollingshead counts his patients and team as extended family, he always enjoys returning to his wife of 26 …years, Andrea Glenn. The Hollingsheads have four children and nine grandchildren, of whom they are immensely proud. Dr. Hollingshead is also very proud of the fact that he is a third generation Nevadan. He has lived in Las Vegas since the mid 1950's. He has loved Las Vegas since he first moved here and still loves it with all its growth and changes. He sees no reason to ever leave.
In his free time, Dr. Hollingshead enjoys skiing, scuba diving, and golfing. He hikes with Andrea, and the two travel when time permits. For rest and relaxation, the doctor enjoys reading and watching sports games. He also feels it is very important to keep informed on current events and is diligent in his effots to do so.
