Excellent job on the first knee, multiple problems with the 2nd. Would not go back, very arrogant when challenged.

Dr. Holmstrom is incredibly rude and I would not recommend him as a provider of care to anyone. His nurse took le back to a room and was polite and asked questions about my injury. I then proceeded to wait for 70 MINUTES in the room without anyone coming to check in on me or let me know what the hold up was. Dr. Holmstrom then finally entered the room and didnt apologize for the delay or anything. He didn't ask me any questions about why I was there, just proceeded to tell me I needed to enter the TOSH arthritis program because I am overweight. No help, no Solutions, nothing. Rude, short and judgemental, never go see him for any reason.

He is the worst doctor I have ever seen I wouldn't take a dog with a broken leg to him! He makes you wait in the waiting room for over an hour for every visit then turns your over to his what I can only assume is his PA, but since he does not bother to introduce you, you are only guessing at his qualifications. This turning you over to his PA takes place at the worse possible time when you have just come out of surgery then they refuse to listen you because they know better than you. I had a total knee over a year ago and I am in more pain now than I was prior to my surgery, but Dr. Holmtrom just sees what a great job he did on the scar!

It's funny. He was my surgeon but I saw his assistant more than him.

While the TOSH facilities and staff seem very good, this particular doctor does not do any real follow through with his patients. Two months after my joint replacement I had still seen him only once. the pain is still keeping me awake at night and the inflammation is still very severe. It seems to me the doctor would care enough to see patients regularly after the surgery to make sure they heal better. Not impressed here.
