I am very happy with Dr. Hood and his staff. They are all very personable, attentive and helpful.

Doctor Hood is an excellent doctor. He has been my doctor over a decade. I have diabetes and he’s always making sure my feet are well taken care of. However, this time I have a bad gallbladder and he has referred me to a surgeon UT. I’m grateful he found it before it got totally bad. He is a thorough doctor. My husband and I both go there..

I have been going to DR. Hood for years he has found many things wrong and got them fixed really fast.Found I have blockage in my neck with a steascope needed up with bypass surgery I will recommend Dr.Hood for anyone

I drive 80 miles each way to see Dr.Hood. I do this because 13 years ago he saved my life by sending me to get tests that several other “specialists” didn’t even think about. As a result I went to a heart surgeon and I wouldn’t be alive now if I hadn’t. I appreciate Dr. Hood and always see him as my family doctor.

First Dr I have had that takes the time to listen to me. An absolute gem!

Being a patient for nearly twenty years, I find Dr. Hood to be the ideal doctor. He’s truly compassionate and listens, offering medical advice and options without being pushy, leaving the patient in control of his/her health. He’s very knowledgeable and has helped me when specialists made mistakes. I don’t know what I’ll do when he retires. It’ll be hard to find a doctor as good as him.

There is nothing to like about this doctor, he is always late , it always takes 60+ minutes from the time you enter Family Practice till you see hood, never tell you anything about his diagnosis and the medications he is prescribing, WHAT EVERY YOU DO DO NOT DEMAND/QUESTION WHY HE WANT A CERTAIN TEST RAN ON YOU, BECAUSE HE WILL TELL YOU TO FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR....LIKE HE DID ME! Like I said before....There is nothing to like about this doctor!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr Hood needs to retire!! He has been my dads doctor for 10 years, used to be interested in his patients, not anymore! doesnt look him in the eye, stays on computer all the time with his backed turned to my dad, grunts a question occassionally, but never looks up. you dont know anymore than you did. my dad was hospitilized for a week recently with a very swollen red, painful leg. Dr Hod guessed several diagnoses. could be blood clot, could be infection, might need to see vascular surgeon. maybe you need to massage your leg. He massages his wife's legs every night..SERIOULSY ?
