One of the very few really good psych. doctors in the DC metropolitan area. Have seen him for years. He spends time with you (much more than he bills for) and LISTENS. You can reach him after hours. Has no staff so can't rate him on that. So far as I know, isn't taking new patients except for, maybe, ECT. Can't say enough good things about him.

He is nothing less than AMAZING! He includes you in your treatment. He works with you, not on you. He can be slightly late, but you will get your full appointment time. He has no office staff, so it is difficult to rate because there is no NA option. He is highly knowledgeable and incredibly insightful.

Was a patient. I had an appointment scheduled received a call from an associate about the doctor having to cancel appointment and never heard from him again.

I was misdiagnosed for many years...Dr. H is so competent and accurately has diagnosed and treated me for the last 3 yrs.He is great to talk to and is very open to the patient's ideas and doesn't make you feel like you have no idea about things that are going on with you. I love his sense of humor but he is also very much a professional. Couldn't live without him!

Dr. Hryvniak is the most professional, down to earth psychiatrist you will find. He devotes himself to quality evaluation and superb care. He has a great sense of humor and is interested in what you have to say about your treatment. He's the best.
