Dr. Michael Warren Huey I

Several years ago I went to Dr. Huey for a re-treat on a failed root canal. I wasn't referred to him I just picked him out of the roster of Endodontists. During treatment Dr. Huey left a piece of cotton or material in my tooth and it rotted out the entire root. How we learned this was the fact that I got extremely sick and ended up with a fistula. I called Dr. Huey but they refused to help me without charging me. I had to go to my regular dentist who opened the tooth and the smell was horrible, then he pulled out the piece of guaze or whatever they left in there and it was black. It was so awful. We had to leave the tooth open, 2 doses of long term antibiotics, special mouth rinses and then we tried to save the tooth after it heal but it never work. It had to be pulled, the first and only time I had ever lost an entire tooth. Their staff didn't even give a crap when I called in pain. Dr. Huey is not what you think, his quiet demeanor means nothing, he could care less about… what happens to his clients. If you want proof, I'll get you my dental records of what happened. THIS NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED.

Inserted a crown--I don't think he even tried to get the color to match to the rest of my teeth. Chatted with the dental assistant about something he saw on tv WHILE he was working on my tooth. He kept looking up at her and repeating parts of his story. I'd prefer a dentist who looked at what he was doing. Plus, I had to go back and get it filed down. He said it was because I grind my teeth. I said that my dentist never mentioned that. His response? ARE YOU CALLING ME A LIAR? Very unprofessional. And though its nice to have juice in the waiting room, it doesn't fill me with confidence to see it all expired. No, I would not recommend Michael Huey to a friend. Maybe to an enemy though.

I had an amazing experience with this office. I was in severe pain and was set at ease with the excellant bedside manner. My rootcanal was painless and quick unlike previous ones elsewhere. I highly recommend Dr Huey's office
