Dr. Michael David Huffman, MD

Dr. Huffman is a very good doctor. He is very caring and makes you feel like he is in your corner. I have been going to Dr. Huffman for many, many years even though I no longer live in Lincoln. I live 100 miles away. I am confident that he is diagnosing my problems correctly, other wise I wouldn't travel this far to see him. Keep up the great work!

Dr. Huffman is an intelligent, insightful doctor. I no longer live in Lincoln, but was looking up Dr. Huffman on the internet to call him and thank him for an excellent diagnosis he made 15 years ago. I kept the letter he sent me after one of my visits - I've lived in 2 other states since then - so I could thank him. I highly recommend Dr. Huffman for several reasons - 1) his insights and diagnosis were very helpful to me, 2) he was consistently kind and respectful to me, and he sticks out as a good doctor after 15 years! This is the first time I've ever made a review, but like the last reviewer, it seems appropriate to share my experience. I recommend that you try him and decide for yourself.

I'm not one who commonly participates in these reviews, but the previous review I feel does great injustice and cant allow it go unchallenged as they mischaracterize someone Ive known to be a good doctor whom Ive felt much more confidence and comfort with that any other GP I had previously.I've seen Dr. Huffman for more than a decade. He's seen me through multiple minor maladies, and a cervical fusion surgery. I have absolutely no complaints, and feel he's a very caring and attentive GP. I have admittedly seen his PA on more than one occasion but have no complaints there either.He has never failed to make time for my many questions, and at least for everything I've gone in for, what he's prescribed for me has worked. As for the weight comment in the earlier post, that seems completely out of character. He doesn't fail to let me know that I need to lose weight when we discuss general health. I'm really dismayed by the earlier commenter's statements. I'd recommend Dr. Huffman to anyone.

diagnoses is according to how he is feeling or what thing he is doing in his own life. Example: Doc should I do something about my weight? "No god made you that way and look at your genetics. I should loose a few pounds myself." Visit few months later Doc Huffman says "well you know you could benefit by loosing some weight I am on the Adkins diet I've lost on it." Bottom line is the money. If you do not have insurance do not go to this doctor. No consideration is given for the uninsured. Prices are jacked up. $200 bucks to look down your throat, feel your glands, listen to your heart and chest, tell you to go home and rest. End up in hospital later that day. Dr Huffman never came to see you during the 2 and a half day stay.
