Dr. Michael Damon Hughes, MD

He was my Dr. briefly when he was at UCR in Palm Springs. He was very nice, great bedside manner, I formative & honest. Made you very comfortable. After he moved on to Eisenhower I was very upset as the others didn't even compete. I now have Kaiser and they still don't come close. My loss

Dr Hughes made me feel comfortable and confident right away. His care has been excellent. I cannot say enough good things about him. A real person. A great doctor.

Tried to get an appointment with this doctor based on some of the nice reviews. The office person on the phone told me that you need to be a member and pay out-of-pocket for your healthcare to see him. Seriously???? Why list yourself as a provider accepting insurance if you want all cost payed up front through your "membership" program? This says a lot about this doctor and what is most important to him -- money, not people.

He is more comfortable cruising men in the supermarket than listening to your health concerns.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hughes for years. He is now the doctor of my entire family (husband, kids, extended family members, and parents). He is prompt (and has very nice nurses), and calls back with the test results or more information in a timely mannor. I can even check my records and results online! Overall, he is a great listener, patient, and one of the most kind doctors I have seen. He is great especially with kids. I would recommend him to anyone.

I trust Dr Hughes and highly recommend him for a primary care Doctor. He has been right on with his diagnosis of my problems and has referred me to great specialists when needed. He listens to my complaints and seems to know right away how to resolve problems - Fantastic!

Michael was always wonderful to my family! Out of all my doctors, (which there have been a lot from moving) he was never wrong and had great instincts even when sometimes the diagnostic test didn't give a conventionally reading! My son and Husband love and miss him too!! We wish when we moved we could have taken him with us! Still haven't in seven years been able to find a doctor to replace him!! When in the hall way, it didn't matter if they were geriatric or child they would always be thanking him and complementing him on his patience, kindness, and willingness to listen! We were all so appreciate that like other doctors he never made us feel like we were on an assembly line.
