Had a total knee replacement. It was perfect!

The absolute best in Dallas. Dr Huo is the guy that other ortho docs refer you to when they are afraid your case is too complicated for them. The absolute best hip surgeon in Dallas and probably in top 5 in the country

Dr. Huo is friendly when he has the time. He is so busy seconds is all you get after surgery, yet he is so precise and attentive about the procedure, that is exactly what I look for in a surgeon. He is dedicated, knowledgable and most trustworthy. Best ortho around!! He is my hero!!

I fell in love with Dr. Huo at our first meeting! Not only did he introduce himself using his first name, but he inspired confidence when I revealed some medical issues I have to deal with (Coumadin therapy for clotting disorder) and he immediately set forth the plan to deal with me as a patient. Immediately he set me at ease as he explained having a filter put in to prevent any clots from reaching my lungs. I've had the problem for five years now and this is the first doctor who summed it up in short order and set me on the path to better health. I thought my life was changed forever by not being able to walk on a destroyed hip and potential clotting problems, but less than 3 months after hip replacement I am now once again excited about living a full and rich life! Dr. Huo, or Michael as I know him, is a miracle worker!

Dr. Huo has a great bedside manner and a very good reputation. The only problem I see is that his nurse seems to be very tired and appears not to like her job. When you talk to her she seems bothered. Maybe time for her to retire.

I can't say enough about Dr. Huo. Not only is he the best at what he does, he is the most compassionate Dr. I have ever known. He is helping me through the most trying time in my life, and I appreciate all he is doing for me.

Dr. Huo almot bounded into the exam room leaving a resident far behind. He introduced himself and asked several pertinent questions. Then he went to the x-rays on the computer and pointed out what was wrong with my old implant. He then addressed the intern and showed him some comparisons between the hip joint and a shoulder joint. He answered my questions as I pointed to different things on the x-ray and suggested a benign solution. I suggested surgery because of related complications I pointed out and we set a date for surgery.

My mother lives in another state, but came to Texas due to a serious hip/pelvic injury. She saw Dr. Buchwoltz originally, who referred her to Dr. Huo. There are no words to describe how thankful we as a family are for the wonderful care she received. Dr. Huo is not only brilliant in his field, he is kind and very compassionate. He took the time to explain everything to us. At 83 she is recovering much better than I thought she could. All thanks to the wonderful care she was given!

Dr. Huo is excellent. He takes time to explain issues, answers questions and tries to provide as much information as the patient needs. I am actually looking forward to my surgery, because he has an excellent reputation, is extremely knowledgeable and actually cares.
