Not going back! Good Dr. but bax customer service! Very long unapilegetic long wait times!

I had an appointment with Dr. Jackson a few hours ago and it was the first time that I ever walked out of an appointment. The doctor was kept interrupting me and was rude while taking my patient history. He never got a complete picture he kept interjecting to here himself talk. And when he wasn't satified with the the answers I gave he proceeded to be condescending and made assumptions in my commitment to my own healthcare. He is a nasty individual. Questioned whether or not I was working and then proceeded to tell me It was too late for me (early thirties) to have a career in a particular industry. I did not ask his opinion and he should have kept it to himself. He is only fit to work with the dead because he has no respect for the living. And definitely doesn't want you to talk back.

Dr. Jackson is a very unprofessional, nasty, angry man. He treats his staff similiar to dogs. He talks down to them in the hallways outside of the patients rooms and he also did it infront of me several times. When he pulls the girls (His medical staff) out of the rooms, they leave happy and after come back looking scared, stressed and teary eyed. He turns the music on when leaving the room but I can still hear him cursing and belittling his staff. He has no respect for patients time, he is ALWAYS late and forever behind schedule. When he is late or behind schedule, he blames his staff but they are always fast and pleasant. A few times in the waiting room, other patients would mention his behavioral and ethical problems that they've seen or heard but some brushed it off. Not me. I will NOT be returning to Jackson Dermatology ever again. Once I even got an expired sample but thank God the young lady gave me 2 samples because the other medication was in good standing.ALSO for the young… ladies who work for him, you deserve better and its better out there. Don't be afraid or let him fool you. Get a good job with benefits and leave this miserable doctor. A black doctor who claims to be "for his people/patients" but he could care less about you unless you're paying him more than a copayment. BE AWARE!!!!

I promise you, this place is a mad house in a dress, albeit beautiful it is guaranteed ugly on the inside.

I waited 2 1/2 hours almost 3 hours to see him. I actually was going to wait because I am a diabetic and needed to eat. I also had another appointment. As soon as I decided to leave he arrived with his assistant. I decided to stay. At that point, he was quick to Rx my conditions. His demeanor is very cocky. His attitude continued as I had a problem with my RX, two weeks later I was without one of them. I visited the pharmacy twice as my RX wasn't ready. I was told I needed a prior authorization by the pharmacy. I called prior asking the assistant for the authorization. She said she called it in. I returned to the pharmacy the pharmacist told me she spoke personally to the assistant for the Rx. Yet she didn't receive it. I called the office again, asking for the authorization... the disrespectful doctor came on the line and said, " I should pull out my American Express and pay for my medication." I said I have insurance...I need the authorization in order for the pharmacy to… dispense it. As I got upset and hung up. I would not refer a dog to that office! After 2 weeks of waiting for the medication, the office never once called and told me the status of the authorization. Then, had the nerve to write me a letter stating I should find another doctor....I had no intention in going back to a disrespectful, cocky, under managed office, where he has no idea what is going on in his office!!!

I waited for about an hour to be weighed and put into a room. I then waited another hour to see the doctor who came in with two assistants. When I told the doctor I was uncomfortable with having so many people in the room he chastised me. He said more than once "this is my place" as if my discomfort did not matter. I repeated that I was not comfortable he told me to "Get Out". No kidding. Just like that. I was shocked! I took the day off work for this appointment, waited two hours only to be the doctor's verbal punching bag. I'm so sorry I made the mistake of going here.

He is an okay doctor, but very arrogant and disrespectful to his employers. He needs to learn to appreciate them more because they do alot. From what I heard, its not the place to work, but its a good place to learn.

Great Staff, Beautiful Office loved my experience. I send all of my friends to him.
