He is a brilliant guy, their customer service/reply time/accessabilty is terrible.

Dr Michael Jacobs gave us hope yet was realistic with our expectations. He did not promise us a baby but gave us one on one care and attention. We are blessed to have a baby thanks to his expertise and experience.

Highly recommend Dr. Jacobs and his team! They were so helpful and friendly during this journey. He is incredibly smart and highly effective and I am thrilled to say his treatments worked! I would recommend this team 100%!

I first saw Dr. Jacobs about 7 months ago, and I found him to be very insightful. He took his time reviewing my history, I had been to another fertility specialist in the past and frankly Dr. Jacobs was straight forward, which is something I appreciate from any doctor...HONESTY! The staff was very friendly, the nurses extremely professional and compassionate. A couple of times I had questions on balance that was due from me after insurance paid, and I was able to get proper explanation. Now I'm pregnant and looking forward to start my life as a mom thanks to the work of Dr. Jacobs, the other doctors in his practice, and their support team.

I went to Dr. Jacobs upon the recommendation of my OB/ GYN. I couldn't be happier with him and the office staff! I had been so nervous about trying to get pregnant but I feel like they've helped ease some of my cocerns

My husband and I had been trying for 2 years to get pregnant and after seeing no results we decided to see a specialist to make sure we both checked out ok. We were referred to Fertility and IVF Center of Miami and saw Dr. Jacobs. Our first appointment he did a sonogram to make sure everything looked all right and then sent my husband and myself for a series of bloodwork, semen sample, ultrasound, and x-rays. It was a hassle but the only way we would know if everything was alright. After waiting a month, we came back to get our results and everything was fine but since we haven't been able to conceive on our own we were labeled with "unexplained infertility." He suggested I start 3 months of Clomid and after that if I wasn't pregnant then begin IVF which he mentioned can run anywhere between $30-40,000. He wrote up my treatment plan and sent me on my merry way never to see him again because all the treatments are done by the fertility nurse not him. I began the Clomid treatment and… did one round of IUI, which again was done by the nurse not the doctor, it didn't work and I was never informed that a side effect of Clomid is developing cysts in your ovaries. I was just told I would be very moody and have hot flashes they have a pamphlet that they give you to explain Clomid and side effects and nothing in there mentions cysts!. I was extremely upset as you can imagine and annoyed that the doctor relinquishes everything to the nurses which are so hard to get a hold of because you have to leave them messages and wait for them to call you back and hope they return your call. Every time you walk into this office and you get charged for every little thing even if it's a 5 min appointment. To top it all off I called to request a copy of my records because I wish to get a second opinion and was told it takes 5 business days plus I would be charged $1.00 a page for the first 25! For each page in excess of 25 the cost is $.25 cents.I have never in all my life heard of an office doing this!! My husband called it from the very first appointment that this was a money hungry office and the doctor is like a used car salesman preying on couples and their desires, emotions, and desperation to have children. He only sees you for the first appointment and then once more to give you his treatment plan and sends you off to the nurses. I would rather repeat all my exams all over again with my new doctor than give this greedy man anymore of my money! Please do yourself a favor and find someone else I wish someone had exposed this man earlier so I wouldn't have wasted so much of my time, money, and tears.

I am a health care provider and have been to multiple fertility doctors in search for the right one. Additionally I had a complicated case and Dr. Jacobs was able to address my needs immediately. He seems to be a man of few words and a little dry so I can see how some patients may comment that his bedside manner has a little to be desired but honestly he cares, he is attentive, knowledgeable, willing to think outside the box, and he is an outstanding physician. I highly recommend him and the other physicians in his practice.

Excellent referral from my OBGYN. It took one cycle of IVF and we have beautiful twins. We are so happy!!
