Dr. Michael Andrew Jennings, MD

My grandma had seen him for years, he never checked anything out on her, then all of a sudden she has full blown cancer. No respect for this guy. I wouldn't dare recommend him to anyone or anything

This review is a little late since I had this doctor around 5 years ago but reading the other reviews, I had to add my 2 cents.. I was assigned this doctor as I was pregnant with my first child. I dont remember over all details I just remember little comments being made during check ups that made me very uncomfortable. And reading the last review that was on here, I can see Im not the only one that was put in awkward situations with this man. When I went in to be induced, my water was broke and the waiting game began. When it came time to actually have my baby, he wasnt there. The nurses told me to start with some practice pushes and when he finally walked into the room, my daughters head and shoulders were already out. He made it for literally the last minute or 2 of my delivery. Needless to say, I changed doctors shortly after that. I would not reccomend him to anyone.

I love the ease of being able to get my child in quickly to be seen but each time I take him in it's blown off as something minor and within a day or two I have taken him to the er and he had an ear infection as I assumed or pneumonia... Disappointed

I had a lot of bad experiences with this doctor! During my pap smear he had asked me to open my lady parts below with my own hands because he was to lazy to open the drawers & grab one himself I then proceeded to & didn't open it wide enough so he giggled & than put on his gloves. Myself, Dr. Jennings, a Nurse & my husband were all in the same room. I felt really disgusted. I then tried to get a new doctor on my medicaid list, but they had told me I need a referral & I didn't want to deal with all of that so I figured I'd just stick it out. Than when I turned 8 mth. Dr Jennings asked if I wanted to get induced or wait for my baby to come naturally I said INDUCED! When the day came he tried breaking my water with a long stick & it hurt so bad, yet no water. He said it must have already broken on its own ??? HMM really... Than as the nurses were giving me pitocin the nurse wanted to feel my cervix to see how many centimeters I was & she had felt my bags of water so she broke it & water… came gushing out. It really began to start bugging me that my Doctor did not know what he was doing. He was just getting paid thats all that mattered to him. Finally my bundle of joy arrives I had assigned a different doctor for him & dr. Jennings says " since i'm not his doctor let the other doctor circumsize him" and my last bad experience was when I went to get my follow up after having baby. He had proscribed me birth control pills that could harm my baby. He knew I was breast feeding but gave me pills that would dry them up & harm my baby. Which I found out when I had gone to the womans health center because I was planning on getting my tubes tied. WORST DOCTOR EVER!! I've had 3 kids & this doctor was the worst!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
