Dr. Michael Allen Jobst, MD

Dr. Jobst and his staff were wonderful. During the consultation Dr. Jobst took his time and explained things very clearly and helped put my mind and my family at ease. The surgery went just as he said it would as he removed all the cancer and with minimal intrusion. It was better then I had expected! I went back for a follow up two weeks later and Dr. Jobst once again took his time and made sure I was healing properly. I would highly recommend Dr. Jobst and his staff.

The two times i seen him he could not have cared less about my problem. He hurried me out of his office as he told me he had other patients who had and needed more care than I...Well his diagnosis cost me a lot of pain and a possibley life threatening situation

A great surgeon!

Office was easy to locate. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Dr. Jobst came to exam room shortly after I entered to room. Diagnosed my problem and explained the procedure needed to correct it. Dr. worked with my scheduled for surgery given me choices for the day on which it was done. During recovery at home his staff called to check on my progress. A call to the office was returned in a short time. I give the office and Dr Jobst 5 stars.

The combination of super nice guy with excellent bedside manner, and brilliant surgical skills, is unmatched in the Midwest, and probably anywhere. This guy does his homework and is prepared down to the finest details. You can rest assured you're in the best hands possible for whatever procedure he is doing. His office assistants are also on the ball, and working for you to help you through this difficult time.

Referred to Dr. Jobst by my Family Doc for rectal issues. First exam was by Jobst's nurse practitioner. She made wrong diagnosis & gave me prescription that did not help. Went back for a second exam by Dr. Jobst, he was dismissive and somewhat annoyed. Recommended colonoscopy but "found nothing" on the scope exam. I consulted another specialist who immediately made the correct diagnosis and performed outpatient surgery. It has been several months since and I feel great. Do not be deceived by the super positive reviews.

I saw Dr. Jobst the summer of 2013. He performed emergency surgery, was very thorough in his description of my medical issues, and was extremely thoughtful and helpful throughout my whole ordeal. After I had some more complications, he stayed with me throughout my whole medical proceedings and was a rock throughout the whole experience. I would recommend this doctor to anyone and would go back to see him again! He is a very skilled and friendly doctor that anybody would be lucky to have.

Went to see him based on some of the positive reviews....very disappointed. Reviews may be sham written by friends! I initially liked him but when I asked "too many questions" he became condescending and patronizing. He seemed in a hurry and more style than substance. I like to know details about my disease and treatment, and expect to be treated with a modicum of respect. Will not return to or recommend this doctor.

Dr. Jobst seems to be more into status than patient care. I had heard this prior to going to see him but kept my appointment anyway. I will not go back.
