Felt hurried like wasting his time. Speaks hurried.

Dr. John always seems to be in a hurry on the occasions I have seen him over the years for various reasons. It’s almost as if he has a low regard for his patients and their questions. I had to stand up to him and tell him to hold on a minute, that I had some questions for him. It was good to bring a list. Maybe it’s his military background, maybe just his personality but I knew that was my time, I was paying for his service took control of the situation. He stopped his “busyness” to answer because I insisted. He seems to be a good doctor but will always make sure he knows he needs to stay until my 2-3 questions are answered.

Had a regular appointment and had to wait awhile, then taken to exam room and had to wait longer. Office staff was excellent! When Doctor Sr. came in the room, he appeared to be in a big hurry and wanted get done so he could get out the door. After a. Dry brief full body exam for moles, he was trying to rap it up and out the door! I pointed out several miles that had me concerned and he then took the time to exam much closer. Then, showed him a wart he missed during his rushed exam. He got his cryo cylinder and froze it again, after I told him my G. P. already did that. The wart is still there and has not shrunk or gone away! Then pointed out a Brown Recluse spider bite, which he didn't act concerned about. Looked at it from a distance and said they take time to heal and rushed out of the exam room. When you don't have to rely on referrals by patients word of mouth, I guess you can practice any way you want! Especially when you are close to retirement.

I was able to be seen quickly on a saturday due to a cancellaton. The office staff were nice especially his nurse. Dr. John Sr. Was not at all personable. I felt i was taking up his precious time. Had a spot on my nose my GP said needed to be looked at. Therefore, referrel to Dr. John Sr. The numbig shots he gave were extremely painful. I felt he could have used a numbing gel on the spot before giving me the shots. He did not take anytime with me to explain the whole procedure. He did not ask me if i had any questions. Will find another dermatologist in the future. Would not recommend.

I did take my son to doctor john. When we went there after waiting for long time they nurse took us to the room the another 30 to 45 min took the doctor to come. I showed him the wart on my son's hand he look at them and try freeze them with dry ice. It took him not even a minute . He bairly touched the wart . Then he left the office. That is it I had to pay for service that he did not do it right. This doctor only thinks about money. He does not care about patient care. I think if a doctor does not care about his patient well being and only thinks about the money , no one should go to him. There are other doctors that care they even go to other countries such as Africa and help people. I don't know if even you could call him DOCTOR. HE DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE CALLED DOCTOR. It should not be all about money . He needs to care about his patients.

Doctor seems experienced and professional. Takes a month or more to get appt.

I had a skin condition my GP didn't recognize and didn't spend any time on. The itching was 24/7 and driving me up the wall. Dr. John recognized the condition but did a biopsy to confirm and gave me ointments which were immediate relief after four months of crazed scratching. He and his staff were all very pleasant and the biopsy was almost completely painless. The treatment room and waiting room appeared immaculate. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

My total time in this place was 20 minutes and thats filling out new patient paper work. The Dr. spent less than 5 minutes with me, wrote up a couple of scripts and sent me on my way. $40...Nice.
