Dr. Michael Keith Johnson, MD

Dr. Michael Johnson is a humble, kind, brilliant physician. Several friends and family members recommended him for his inquisitive nature when getting to the bottom of medical issues. He evaluates medical history, symptoms, lab results, medical tests, and asks revealing questions to get to the root of the problem. He's truly the best doctor I've ever had. When I've needed a specialist he refers me to excellent doctors. Dr. Johnson operates a busy doctor's office with the assistance of his wife. They always take care of my medical needs. Most of all I'm grateful that he prays for us, his patients. The Bible says those who need wisdom should ask God and He will give it to them abundantly. Dr Johnson has abundant wisdom so I know he's talking to the Lord.

A few months ago i didnt mind the 65 miles i drove to see dr johnson and johnny after i moved to tenn. To care for my mother. My son has to drive me now that ive had amputations to part of my foot i really liked dr. Johnson even though I only saw him a couple of times in about 2 years now the office is not as efficient although the new doctors seem to be a great addition . I had an appointment for 830 i got there at 745 i was the 2nd to check in the patient before me was called back immediately and i sat and watched 7 or 8 idk how many get called back one lady wasnt even finish checking in and she was being called then after i made sure she had me checked giving her the benefit because she was new 2 more were called one of which wasnt even there and i saw everyone who came in so idk where that came from but i didn't appreciate the sorry way i was treated so i left because my son had to drive me back 65 miles and turn around and drive another 30back to work and the receptionist was… aware so im done

Johnny & Dr. Johnson are attentive and compassionate. Today, I needed to see someone to follow-up on an emergency room procedure. Clarice got me in as quickly as possible. Tonya is the BEST phlebotomy in North Alabama... the best in three states, in my opinion. Thorough and extremely knowledgeable doctors.

John is a RUDE OBNOXIOUS MAN WITH NAPOLEAN SYNDRONE. He has a Liar with an attitude as if he’s in Africa and women don’t have the right to speak. (When in Rome do as the Romans do... in this case you are in the USA and MEN ARE NOT SUPERIOR!) LITTLE JOHNNY doesn’t have patience for senior citizens. If they ask to many questions, he feels threatened and accuses you of calling him a liar. REALLY!?!?! If a patient can’t ask questions to get an understanding of what you are saying pertaining to their health, then why are you in the medical business? Patience/bedside manner is key in the medical field. To make matters worse, he likes to hang the phone up on you when you don’t bow down to him. Not only is this poor customer service but its NOT Christ Like. Dr. Johnson, I pray you deal with him before he ruins your business.

The wait time at this facility is unacceptable! There is no communication with the patients to update them on the status of their appointment. It seems to be the norm to wait 3-5 hours for care. I would suggest communicating with your patients every 30 minutes. Checking to see if anyone is is in need of fluids, crackers, or oxygen.

Dr Michael K Johnson prescribed 180 Opiod pills a month for 7 months to my 82 year old mother. This particular drug is not approved for use beyond 5 days. She almost died as a result. Her bowels were so impacted, they were shoved up into her lungs and she vomited feces. This Dr is dangerous and should be behind bars.

Worst experience of my life!!

I absolutely love Dr.Johnson's office. I cant believe all the negative reviews that are posted. These review don't reflex the wonder type of doctor that Dr.Johnson is, but are really used to attack his staff and his wife. I don't understand why so many people are using this as a platform to attack someone who is beyond a pleasure. I had a balance with Dr.Johnsons office and Mrs.Johnson not only took the time to explain every detail to me BUT also set up a payment plan with me. I have stood in line and watched patients fuss about having insurance but not understanding about deductibles. Try not paying a fee or co-pay at a specialist, well guess what, there is no working out a payment plan or having anything broken down in detail......YOU JUST WONT GET SEEN. Its sad that people will lower such a good doctors rating because of the dislike of his wife, who does her job very well. How about stopping with the names and just pay your bills! You cant go to Wal-mart and walk out with free… grocery's, so stop trying to get free health care and complaining and name calling when you are caught!!!
