Dr. Michael Abou Jones, MD

From what I hear, he got sick and quit his practice. I've been a patient of his for 16 years and still trying to locate my medical records. Anyone have any information on how to obtain this? Thank you!

Dr. Jones is one of the best primary care physicians I have had in my 56 years. He is kind, a listener and takes the time necessary to get to know me as a whole person. When there have been any concerns beyond his normal scope of care, he has referred me to the best possible specialists for the circumstance. I no longer live in the New York area and I STILL fly back to be seen by Dr. Jones!

Dr Mike Jones has to be the absolute worst doctor I have ever visited. To start, the office itself is a mess, the walls are so thin you can hear what other patients, behind closed doors are saying. I warn people from going here it's a complete waste of money and you will leave insulted...he diagnoses you on how you look, nothing medical. He is a joke...declines all RX refills multiple times to make you come back to pay another copay. That is his MO. He had messed up many RX for me costing me. Every piece of equipment is broken, his nurses don't really take your vitals they ask you what they are? He has said many things to me that I was appaled by. Don't understand how Dr jones is a doctor. Save yourself and do not go to him. I wish I could give no stars

Don't waste your time going to this office unless you have something simple and have a lot of time on your hands. I have gone twice and both time waited well over an hour to even sit in a room. Once I finally met with the doctor he seemed to keep me there longer while I just sat there and watched him type notes. This office clearly does not respect their patients time.The office also always seems to have tons of people behind the desk but it is beyond me what they do besides talk with each other and over schedule appts. It is run very inefficiently and seems that they are not a very educated office staff. They are not knowledgable about common doctor office procedures or insurance. Even for simple things like calling in a prescription, how to do a proper blood pressure test, or keeping notes for while you are there.The doctor himself is ok but very old fashioned and didnt get an overwhelming feeling he was that knowledgable with what was wrong with me and was way too conservitive… with his diagnosis.

Look him up on yelp. He's a good doctor, but the office and practice is terrible.

Dr. Michael Jones helped me with a chronic condition I have, when all other doctors didn't have a clue. I'm 42 years old and have suffered my entire life with this. No other doctor was knowledge about this, even so called SPECIALISTS of the condition. Any time the condition flares up he gives me topical and oral antibiotics and it clears up quickly. He is also thorough with his physical checkups. In addition, he actually acts like he cares about his patients instead of treating them like they are on an assembly line. I totally disagree with the other negative assessments of Dr. Michael Jones, he is one of the best!!!

Dr. Jones was professional and courteous at every one of my appointments. I am getting the help that I need to address my health problems.

I scheduled with Dr. Jones being under the impressions that he is Board Certified based upon his business card which states "Diplomate, Board of Internal Medicine".I checked with the American Board of Medical Specialists, "is my doctor certified" and he is not certified.What's up?

Imposible to get this guy to return phone calls to get the results of tests.Nice guy, howeverThis happened a few times. I've now changed doctors.

Wasted my time and left a $15 co-payment to get a zero help or advice on a whole bunch of symptoms.This doctor turned the appointment into a joke, laughing at my problems and saying that my symptoms are psychosomatic. Even after I asked him to take a CAT scan or MRI, he laughed in my face. He also denied the presence of a problem that I had been diagnosed with before, without any tests! 2 days later the diagnosis was confirmed once again by another doctor that I went to trying to get help!I felt like the doctor was getting away from my questions throughout the appointment time. At the end he said he didn't want to hear any more questions from me. How professional is that?!I left with a feeling that one of us is crazy. No wonder there's no wait list to see this doctor.
