Dr. Michael C Josey, MD

I've had Dr. josey for over 10 years as my doctor. I highly recommend him. He is very easy to talk to. He listens to my issues and then gives you a couple of options to help. He does testing once a year for me and that is what I want and expect from a Dr. I do not have any problems with him as a Doctor at all. I'm 57 years old and have seen alot of Doctors in these years. I rate him a 9.5 of 10.

He is a Great physician. I've been seeing him for more than 5 years on a regular basis. He listens to me, acknowledges what I am saying and is offers suggestions. If I indicate I don't want to persue something, he accepts my decision. When I have a problem, he generally offers different options for me to consider.

Dr. Josey is really nice and I have gone to him for almost 10 years. However I don't like that you have to initiate care, if you have testing come back you have to call them in order to set up appointments. He doesn't seem to care about preventative treatments as much as a family doctor should. After a year of high blood pressure readings I was never put on medicine, nor was it addressed. I finally switched family doctors and they take much better care of me.

I do like Dr. Josey. His bedside manner is pretty good, and it is pretty easy to get an appointment with him. My only beef is that when you have a problem, and he orders a test, if the test comes back normal, there is only followup on that if YOU initiate it. At least that has been my experience. But, if you initiate it, he does followup. Nice guy, easy to talk to .
