I had a fall and had a burst fracture at L3. I had 2 previous opinions that wanted to do surgery ranging from 3 corrective procedures to a massive surgery that required 4 months of recovery. Dr Kachmann ordered more comprehensive tests than other Drs giving him a more complete information to evaluate. He did not recommend surgery at all. He recommended physical therapy for 3 months. After physical therapy was completed my fracture was healed. He saved me from massive surgery. I have resumed normal activities. I HIGHLY recommend him. He is a very skilled surgeon and is a caring person

I initially saw Dr Kachmann based on personal referral. My first visit he very patiently answered all my questions and was willing to spend all the time I needed. This alone makes him unique compared to many of his peers. The surgery was a complete success. I'm six weeks out and 90% of the pain is gone and I'm confident that as I continue to heal the remainder will be gone as well. Can't recommend Dr Kachmann highly enough!
