This man is a disgrace. He has to ask your political affiliation to diagnose people. He asks if you are horny? He is a liar. Had 25 minute appointment as opposed to 50 minutes.

I've been well for over a year because Dr. Kahn finally hit on the right combination of meds. for me. Whenever I email him he responds immediately. I once called him at 6 in the morning and he completely understood what I was going through. Whenever I tell him I'm depressed he always has a game plan. He allowed my husband to accompany me during one of my visits because my mental health was disrupting my marriage. His experience is obvious. When I describe to him how I'm feeling I know he's heard it a zillion times before and that is why he always knows what to do. It's taken me a very long time to get where I am now and during that time he never gave up on me, always tried a different approach. During my very first visit he diagnosed me immediately and told me he thought he could help me and that is precisely what I needed and wanted to hear. I am forever grateful to him.

Not reliable as psychiatrist. Not competent.Notorious for medical fraud.

This guy is a real piece of work. Doesn't pay attention. Doesn't listen to your problems and will try to get you to admit you're wrong, even if he hasn't been paying attention. Acts put upon when questioned. Doesn't explain his reasons for medication. Feels threatened when you say you wish to find another therapist. Tries to manipulate you using your family and circumstances. Will fall asleep during sessions. A real nightmare to deal with in terms of his approach. Disrespectful and unhelpful.

Outstanding physician, open, caring, and always alert to problems he can help with. Psychiatry has its kooks. Dr. Kahn is the best!
