Dr. Michael Edmond Kan, MD

When I went to go see my doctor he kept telling me you’re fine and then he kept telling me oh we’re gonna have some testing done and he didn’t spend as much time talking with me and then he was like telling me that I have a I guess I disorder in my body that’s causing me pain but he never seem to care about me that much but he could’ve done better

Dr. Kan is the most knowledgeable doctor I have ever know. I wish I could find another like him. We moved to another state but I will never forget him. (His front office staff could've used work though)

I have been with Dr Kan for about 30 years! (AND THE REVIEWS ARE VERY OLD!!) I am SUPER PICKY when it comes to choosing a Doctor strange so I'm telling you; Dr Kan is a good Dr. I have NO IDEA why those who rated him low did so as some don't really say what he did. I followed Dr Kan over 3 clinics from Campbell to Los Gatos (his STAFF WAS HORRID there ) to San Jose. Now his staff is FAR MORE EFFICIENT! They are TOTALLY great. Dr Kan is really good family Dr. Yes! Dr Kan does have a quwrky sense of humor that not everyone understands! My whole family goes to him. He is VERY accomodting and often gives a natural treatment vs medicine. He keeps up with what's new and goes to classes and seminars. You should give Dr Kan a visit, I believe you will find him a really good family Dr!!

This person that calls himself a dr. should have a rating of "0." I am absolutely dumbfounded how this man can be practicing medicine. He was the attending 'dr.' at Good Sam when I was admitted in Jan. 2019. I have reported him to the sr. management at the hospital because of all the ludicrous statements he made to me, his horrible behavior and the outright stupidity that he displayed. One of the hospital's sr. management told me, when I verbally inquired during my stay, about how to lodge a complaint, that he is "one of the hospital's problem children." When a patient is told to their face by hospital management a statement that corroborates what the patient has experienced, it pretty stunning. Get rid of him!!! Don't ever have this man practice medicine for you or your loved ones. He is a nut job.

Don't go to a Dr. that be - rates staff in front of his other patients.

Dr Kan has no manner's and no ethics and has no soul and no heart. His attitude is based from his daughter at fifteen died from cancer. He hates life and does everything he can to make other people and patients suffer as he us suffering due to his daughters death. He is late to meetings and turns around and blames the other person for not being able to on time for the meeting. He loves to make icu to suffer with pain and loves to push himself that there us no other treatment options but wants the patients family to pull the plug on them. He cares for no one and he has no heart for humanity. Hitler would have been proud to have him on his staff. Avoid him at all cost and watch how much he loves to see people to suffer.

I have had experiences with arrogant Dr's before but this guy takes the cake. I'm glad some of you out there have had a positive experience with Dr Kan, mine...not so much. Unsufferable wait times, rude and dissmisive personality, zero compasion or bedside manner and seems like he is making up diagnosis to keep a person coming back for more and more wasted office visits and uneccessary tests. I've read other posts about his staff but I have not had bad experiences with them. I will say that if you have ever seen Dr Kan interact with his staff, by screaming at them and demeaning them them in front of patients, that I could understand why the staff may come off as testy. One star is a stretch!!

I trust him with my life-he is worth the wait! Would not see anyone else!!

Dr Michael Kan is like Dr House (TV) He is arrogant & does not apologize for being 1 1/2 hrs late, but he is brilliant. If you want an accurate diagnosis & treatment , he is awesome. He has a sick sense of humor but underneath that thick skin , he is compassionate & explains everything in detail. He is sooo funny once you get to know him -you will love him & no other doc compares to his expertise!! He knows everything!!
