Dr. Michael William Kane, MD

Reported inaccurate information regarding my case to other doctors. Failed to include details about a medication to which I have a deadly allergy. I spent weeks hounding his office to follow up. When I finally got a hold of him he said he would not correct the information because it "wouldn't make a difference." I said I was concerned that he would report inaccurate information and he said it was probably because he didn't look at my chart and just conveyed the information on memory. I expressed my concern and he just said "point taken." I am deeply unsettled at his behavior, as it shows a dangerous lack of concern for patient welfare.

Best Doctor I've ever had. Professional and really cares about his patients. There's only one Dr. Kane. 5 Stars are just not enough!

Dr. Kane is the only doctor I have ever had who practices with complete conscience and professionalism. His friendly manner and kindness goes a long way because I have had the other. This doctor is a better family physician than a psychiatrist. He was great for prescribing medicine to ease upper respiratory problems but offered little follow up or monitoring of me, especially with a history of drug and alcohol abuse. If you have psychological or substance abuse problems, he won't work too hard to peel back the onion skin. Be warned.
