Dr. Michael Slater Kaplan

If someone is not addicted to drugs when they arrive at his office, they will soon be after a few visits. His office is a revolving door for people that abuse prescriptions.

This man, is a drug dealer.....gave so much to my mother that one day she did not wake up. He even wrote her extra scripts to take to differs pharmacies that didn't cross post on the computers. My mothers chiloice to take the medication was apart of the issue but he should not be left out of this equation. I hope to god he don't practice medicine any more.

The office staff was not professional, my experience with Dr. Kaplan was a total nightmare.

When I began with Kaplan I didn't know about the drug study, that I was part of. During the study the main problem was getting in touch with Kaplan when I had medical issues between appointments. Because of the contract, my other doctor did not treat my pain condition, I had no problem with that. One time I did page Kaplan, per the instructions, I felt it was urgent, he yelled at me and told me not to do it again. His staff was not helpful. I often waited several minutes for them to finish personal conversations to get prescription errors corrected before leaving. They ignored both patients and faxes from pharmacies (including ones warning of accidentally giving the wrong medicine). After the drug study ended, I was treated totally different. Kaplan referenced a colleague busted for writing narcotic scripts, and he was reducing his. He took me off my MUCH NEEDED pain medication without putting me into any rehab. Kaplan did not care that I became NON-functional, and had many… months of agony. He was reducing his patient load. Listing to others in the waiting room, I was not the only person treated like this. I felt like a lab rat. Thank you.
