I am a 57 year old woman, I have lupus and arthritis. I’ve been suffering for twenty years with knee problems, torn cartilage, meniscus tears, and torn ligaments as well as arthritis and bone on bone. I would try anything to stop the pain, soft knee braces, hard knee braces, three custom made braces to be worn outside of my clothes, very uncomfortable. Of course many cortisone shots, gel shots and pain medications, which I only took as a last resort, afraid of getting addicted, and also the side effects. Went to many different drs. To help me. They all said I needed knee replacements, but w the lupus and a higher chance of infection and afraid I wouldn’t be able to do the rehab. They had no faith. But I heard about dr Kaplan!!!!! My knight in shining armor. He told me I will do your knee replacements, you will do the rehab, you will walk again with out the cane, without the wheelchair, and you will be pain free!! I had heard he is very meticulous about every surgery he does. I… could hardly walk, now I’m walking pain free, taking my three dogs around the block up to three miles now!! Prayers and dr Kaplan saved me from a life of pain and sitting and watching other people have fun, he is my hero!!!! With help from God, lot of love from my husband, friends, family and dogs, I’m so very happy!!???????????

I became a patient of Dr. Kaplans by accident, Workmen's Comp injury. To the point, clear concise plan of action. There was no wasted time, his professional staff set everything in motion as soon as Dr. Kaplan saw the damage to my right knee. Surgery was for a full replacement of the right knee, I was worried about the pain and rehabilitation, all put to ease. The Surgery went well, back in my room by 12:30, walking the halls with very little discomfort that same day. Great Job Doc, keep up the great work!

Dr. Kaplan has done both knee replacements on my husband and myself. His, care, concern and compassion are outstanding. His staff are pleasant, caring and helpful. Diane, his surgical coordinator, takes care of all the behind scene apts. she arranges all outside apts for our convince. Ken, his PA is very knowledgeable and can also help with any questions and concens you may have about treatments or surgery. If you are experiencing pain and disruption of your daily life, don’t put off surgery or treatment. After your are done with whatever route you choose you can enjoy life again. Ok,, I had a work related injury years ago and had 4 other surgery's with two other doctors that my employer chose for me. When I got to pick my own Dr, I went to Dr Kaplan and after two days I was running and have since been back to work for almost 9 years. I do twice yearly visits for injections with his PA Ken Minor (who is outstanding) with no regrets. He is an outstanding Dr and very personable....
