Dr. Michael Lawrence Kasper, MD

I found it difficult to communicate with Dr. Kasper. He was unable to explain my condition thoroughly but suggested that I read about it online. His office called me randomly on 6 different occasions to come to the lab and take a blood test THAT day. On one of those occasions, I told them that I was attending a series of highly important meetings for work and asked if I could come the next day. I was told that Dr. Kasper wanted the test THAT day. There was no follow up after taking the random tests other that I received the highly technical results, but had no idea how to interpret them. After the third time that I was called to take a random blood test on THAT day, I refused to leave the office until someone told me what was going on. A medical assistant looked at Dr. Kasper’s notes and said he just wanted a number of samples over time. It was all too random; I could have easily scheduled the blood tests and had follow up answers. I finally had to call his office 3 times to ask if I… should start taking a particular medication he had told me about. I do not trust Dr. Kasper’s diagnosis and am seeing a new hematologist.

I was never so relieved when I met Dr. Kasper...His compassion,empathy and Professionalism got me through a very difficult time in my life..( His staff and other Medical Personnel ..were equally supportive)...My Overall rating would be 6 Stars..Sincerely.RS

Dr. Kasper seems uninterested in my case. Because we are stage 4 I think he is looking at me like a corpse already and has no interest or drive to get things done. I think he is a little out of date as I have had to request genomic testing on my own.

This doc Kasper has horrible bed side manner he does not care for his patients at all my Parent was treated so badly by this man my parent is fighting for their life he is very rude and uncaring he writes his patients off doesn't listen to their concerns and is very rude he gives them no hope and has brought my parent down after every visit makes them feel so much worse after each visit my parent has cried and didn't want to continue to fight because this man told them to just give up because they couldn't handle the chemo it made them too sick I'm so disappointed Kasper should not be a Doc to treat people this way we have switched Docs and are so much happier now with a Doc who truly cares I do not recommend this Doc Kasper at all.

My husband had leukemia and he took action right away when he was first diagnosed. He stayed on top of his situation and gave him ultimately outstanding care! I would recommend him to anyone with cancer!!!
