Dr. Michael Stanton Korenfeld, MD

I thought Dr. Korenfeld was really helpful and efficient. His staff was wonderful and very polite. I’m glad I didn’t read all the negative reviews before I visited him. Everybody seemed very pleasant and helpful to me.

Staff was great , doctor is a real jerk to talk to I was completely surprised at the way he talked to me and this was the first time I ever met him

A very long-time customer of Michael Korenfeld. But will not be coming back as a customer. The staff is so very rude. It is very hard for a customer who wears glasses to be told they can't get close to new glasses and place floor cones to keep me back from looking at the new frames.

Dr Korenfeld is at the top of professionalism. He thoroughly explains his findings and allows his patient to express their concerns. He also allows ample time for any questions. His office is well trained and friendly. He has put my mind at ease. After reading some of the reviews, perhaps patients mistake his wanting to be completely efficient as possibly offensive. I highly recommend Dr Korenfeld.

WORST doctor EVER! If you want to be demeaned and pay for it, then this is your guy. Rolled his eyes when I told him I had a quick question before my dad’s surgery. He told my dad his transportation issues were not his problem that he was just there to explain the surgery. He has tantrums in the office and belittles his patients and his staff. I wanted my dad to switch doctors, but he didn’t want to start the process over. I am not sure how this site has his bedside rating of 4. Read the other reviews. If I could assign him a negative rating, I would.

Dr. Kornfield and his staff are absolutely the rudest people I have ever done business with. He told my husband that he probably just realized he had lazy eye ... umm ok after 52 years... sure he did. The lady (i say that loosely) who dis the first assessment was condescending and just plan rude making snide comments and huffing and puffing during the exam. We will NEVER go back and will take every chance we have to discourage others from going there.

You are not allowed to ask any questions when he is doing something. He can NOT talk and doing something at the same time. That is scary and if you talk he has the nerve to Yell at you, how DISRESPECTUL to his patients. Very Sad

VERY rude and hateful! Screams at patients and makes you feel horrible about wasting his time to "see" you. And dont even dream of picking out frames to your liking. The woman who does that gives you 3-5 prs of frames, and that is what you have to choose from. He is just using his patients as lab experiments. Will NEVER go back nor recommend!!!

Condescending. No empathy. Money grabber by performing unnecessary procedures.My 84 yr old mother had a surgery scheduled because dr. Korenfeld told her she would go blind without it. When the scheduled day came her nervousness couldn't bring herself to do it. She had a follow up 2 weeks later. He checked her eyes and told her the surgery worked because the pressure in her glaucoma eye was down... even though she didn't have the surgery! Ha! Also, have had experiences myself that were questionable. Even though he was affiliated with my insurance, I decided to go with an ophthalmology specialist on my provider list who is a further distance from me. New provider is professional and has a bedside manner.

One of the worst doctors I've ever been to. As with the other reviewer, he hollered at me and wouldn't even listen to my concerns. He was extremely rude and condescending. First and last visit to this guy.
