Treat his patients and staff horrible. Narcissistic and is in only in it for the money.

My husband had lung cancer. It seems there was more cancer than we thought at first. We found this out from an emergency room visit where my husband was admitted into the hospital, I tried to get a call back from Dr. Kosty who was my husbands Dr. for some guidance on where his treatment would be going with the new information we received. I NEVER got a call back from him. While in the hospital we arranged to start using another doctor who was wonderful and did amazing feed back and follow up. . My husband ended up passing away, and to this day I have never had any follow up from Dr. Kosty. Would NOT recommend him to anyone.

Dr. KOSTY has been my oncologist for 3 1/2 years. He is accessible, explains things clearly and cares about his patients. I wouldn't hesitate to refer him to anyone putting their cancer team together.

Excellant doctor. Patient of his for 15 years. Very knowledgeable, professional, intelligent, kind and caring.

He got the job done but his bedside manner is horrible!! In my opinion as an oncologist you need to be somewhat caring and take time to listen to the patients not only yourself. If I had to do it over again I would go elsewhere.

Dr. Kosty has treated my in-law for 3 different cancer problems and he has kept her alive and healthy and is an amazing doctor..very responsible and caring and knowledgeable! I don't know anything about his superficial bedside manner, but he is an amazing cancer specialist and because of him we transferred from ucsd to scripps!

Dr. Kosty should not be treating cancer patients. He is very unfeeling, mechanical, in a hurry to go to next patient. He is rude with patients. Told me I was going to die someday anyway so why not from cancer. All he wants to do is grab his prescription pad and give another prescription. No feelings for the patient or the family.

Dr. Kosty is a cold individual with no bedside manner. Very mechanical. Don't be fooled by his credentials! he is only interested in seeing his quota of patients each day. Loves to prescribe meds. Be careful!

Very disappointed! He forgot to order necessary reports for treatment and then said then were still pending, when never ordered! Never called to confirm treatment plan! We had to call twice! Also did not order PET SCAN. Go to UCLA or Cedar Sinai. They CARE!

Good for Dr. Kosty that his staff picks up the slack. He's very knowledgable, but very business-like. Unfortunate for the types of patients he gets who generally have very difficult diseases and need a little extra care from their doctors.
