Dr. Michael M Krinsky, MD

Dr Krinsky helped the neuropathy in my feet, and tested the progression of my disease. He was always professional and understanding. I did sometimes have to wait in the office.

Dr. Krinsky's average wait time to be seen is 90 minutes. It is almost impossible to get reports sent to consulting physicians. He has poor interactive skills for a physician. I will not go back to him!

I have waited from 20-120 minutes for my appointment. I'd say average is 50 minutes. He's a knowledgeable and highly competent doctor. Unusual, wry sense of humor. Prepare for him to also be very direct.

From the time that I was first introduced to Dr. Krinsky, he was not welcoming. That alone made me feel uncomfortable. I decided to continue with the session. When asking questions about my health history Dr. Krinsky was rude, arrogant, condescending and judgemental. He called me an alcoholic after that fact that I told him that I had stopped drinking in the last two months, and drank twice in this interem. I asked myself at one point, why is this person acting like this towards me? I could not explain it. It's too bad that there are doctors like him that still hold a license. I have never had a doctor talk down at me like Dr. Krinsky did. I am glad to see other's horrible review of him, and know that I was not the only one that he made feel uncomfortable. I was puzzled and hurt. Please if you have had this experience with Dr. Krinsky make sure to post your review. Also, the rating doesn't allow you to give a zero rating. Otherwise, I would not have rated him one star.

Dr. Krinsky is odd indeed. He knows everything. His notes are inaccurate. Wait time is over an hour. Getting an Rx filled at the pharmacy takes multiple calls. My last one was never filled. Have found a new neurologist. If you need copies of your records, there is a charge of 65 cents per page.

I wish overall rating had a scale of -100 to 10. This office would rate -100.Office (s) are run by incompetents! Plain and simple. Extensive wait times, inexcusable- especially when no other patients are being seen prior. I too am dumbfounded by the lack of organization or cohesive communication amongst the office staff in relaying action plans for handling paperwork. Been a reluctant patient for 7 yrs and each year it takes approx 3-4 mos to get employer paperwork completed. How can paperwork be physically handed to staff, on multiple occassions, each time to be told, quite arrogantly, that "you must be mistaken there's nothing in your file"... Seeking another neuro group....

I have been going to Dr. Krinsky for over 10 years. He is truly competent and a good man. Yes, sometimes the waiting time in his office is longer than other offices. He has personally apologized to me for the wait time due to other patients being late and he does have some staff that was unhelpful but he has dealt with them. I found him to be quiet and not at all arrogant. He spends sufficient time with me and I never feel rushed. He is just focused on trying to help everyone. Call ahead of time to see if he is running on time. Truly many doctors will not accept Medicaid for those of us that are disabled. So I am sticking with him. As for his staff, the one or two that have been difficult, he has dealt with them.

This has been the worst experience with a Dr. that I have ever had. The first time I had to see Dr. Krinsky after his partner Gary Belt left my wait was over one hour to get into the room with him. When I did he blamed it on a car accident on 84. His personality is strange & by the time I did get in I was so worried about making it to work on time I could not really concentrate on his odd methods to which he acted like I was the one that was STRANGE?!? My second encounter w/ an appointment was no better after 40 min. in the waiting room other patients approached me (because I was there first) to find out what my promised appt. time was. When they realized I had been waiting for 40 min. 3 people (all there waiting for Krinsky) chimed in to say it is like this EVERYTIME they come to this office. I then demanded my copay back & requested my medical records to go see another neurologist. I am a migraine sufferer & at one point I needed to refill a prescription the staff with Dr.… Krinsky would not cooperate w/ CVS Pharmacy & It took me 10 days & SEVERAL phone calls to get it refilled. I am disgusted with the experience w/ Dr. Krinsky and his staff. Unprofessional and arrogant.

I had to wait for almost two hours past my appointment time. Others in the waiting room said this is typical. Once I did get in to see him, Dr. Krinsky was very rude. He talked down to me as though I knew nothing about my own health history. He was dismissive of my concerns. As for follow-up, I was never called with the results of my tests. Weeks later, I had to place multiple phone calls to the office staff reminding them that I still hadn't heard anything. Eventually Dr. Krinsky left me an approximately 30 second voice message with the results, giving me no opportunity to discuss them or ask any questions.

Totally misdiagnosed me with a very serious disorder! Please get a second opinion if you are diagnosed by Dr. Krinsky!
