Dr. Michael L Lapuma, DDS

Meet The Doctor Oral Surgeon Dr. Michael L. La Puma, DMD Dr. La Puma was born and raised in Southern California where he graduated from the University of California- Riverside, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Professional Zoology.  He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Washington University School of Dental Medicine (Cum Laude)- St. Louis, Missouri in 1987 and completed his general practice residency at the Veteran's Administrative Medical Center- West Los Angeles (Wadsworth) in 1988.  He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Harbor- UCLA Medical Center in 1992.  Upon completion of his residency, Dr. and Mrs. La Puma moved to the Central Coast, residing in San Luis Obispo.                 Dr.  La Puma's professional interest includes: osseointegration and skeletal anchorage as utilized in the fields of orthodontics and implant dentistry.  His personal interests include: backpacking/mountaineering, fishing, and enjoying …time with his daughter- Ciara.
