Dr. Michael John Labellarte, MD

Dr. Labellarte is one of a kind. I found him to be; first and foremost compassionate about my issues and concerns with medications, but most importantly brilliant when it came to diagnosing and finding the right medications to get me where I needed to be.

We were thrilled with Dr. Labellarte's treatment of our son, who has autism spectrum disorder and ADHD. It would not be an overstatement to say that we hold Dr. L largely responsible for our son's success in school and in life. I read reviews that said he is arrogant and irritable. We did not find that to be the case at all. However, he is not the type of doctor who beats around the bush. If you prefer a doctor who "tells it like it is," Dr. L is the doctor for you. We think he's the best.

Great physician... not only did he diagnose and successfully treat our daughter's mental health issue, he helped us identify another medical issue other doctors have been unable to successfully treat - he phoned our primary care physician, gave him his thoughts, and voila - it was diagnosed, treated, and cured.

Stay far, far away. This is very big on mommy shaming. He likes to talk about who he knows, yet had ZERO help to offer my child. He was irritated that I actually took the time to learn about what my child was going through. I guess he's one of those docs who gets threatened when a 'stupid parent' actually KNOWS something that only HE thinks HE knows. Just an all around waste of time and money. I paid out of pocket to make this jerk feel better about HIMself. Completely arrogant and pompous.

This is the first time I saw a doctor who diagnosed quickly and gave me actionable information to help me and my child. We found him very helpful; especially with the school system.

Dr. Labellarte managed a dynamic situation with the school, my child, and made it all work. It's taken a little while to get everything right, but now it is working well for all of us. I can't thank him enough.

This guy is dangerous. He was so rude to me. I tolerated it because I thought he knew what he was doing and was going to help. NO! He overdrugged my daughter so bad that she went manic. Then barely acknowledged. His attitude was so bad. He is all ego with no knowledge, skill, expertise, or professionalism. His staff was rude, if you could ever get ahold of anyone.

Dr. Labellarte not only helped my son overcome some problems, he also was able to virtually eliminate my own depression a few years later. No complaints, only appreciation for jobs well done!

Worst psychiatrist ever!!! Took 5 phonecalls to his office to get a phonecall back. My pharmacy faxed him several requests for a medication refill and he did not respond. He has ZERO bedside manner and doesn't even appear to like kids. Stay away from this doctor! I'd give him a zero if it was possible.
