Dr. Michael Alan Landau, MD

Dr. Landau has been my doctor for the last six years. In that time, I have transitioned positions within my job (more than once), worked on a long term relationship with someone from addiction to recovery (and my own journey through co-dependence) and managed my ADHD, anxiety and depression. Dr. Landau has been my constant touch point, confidant and adviser through all of these ups and downs. (I am sure he would have advice on my kitchen sink as well if I needed it.) The value I have received from my time with Dr. Landau is priceless. He has given me physical techniques to manage my anxiety and rumination, revised my medications to a combination that actually works – but most of all his honest advice and realistic perceptions have re-shaped my own. He always envelopes our conversations with compassion, empathy, humor and his own life experiences. I have seen countless therapists over the last 25 years; I have never experienced one with his depth of knowledge – or had one that has truly… impacted my life for the better in a myriad of ways. I trust him implicitly. His responsiveness to appointments, availability and openness to help connect you to other resources is bar none. I am truly grateful for all he adds to my life.

Years ago, I needed to find a psychiatrist who was interested in helping me. At the time I was shutting down and freezing up on my decisions due to my anxiety attacks. As a result, I couldn't leave the house or do anything without the support of my family. I called around for a psychiatrist in the area, but couldn't get anyone to call me back. I finally found Dr. Landau on the web, who answered my call for help on the very first call. He's charming and very helpful, and one of the very few decisions I will never regret. He's helped me in so many ways and as a result I'm doing more of the things I couldn't do before, such as coming out of the house, doing more around the house, and feeling more like myself these days. Thank you Dr. Landau for helping me get through some of the hardest times in life and helping me to fill more like myself.

Dr. Landau has been the most caring, personable and honest psychiatrist I have experienced. He comes with many years of experience and really takes the time to insure his patients are helped. He integrates therapy into his sessions and introduces or adjusts medication only if necessary. I have been a patient of his for 2 years now and the quality of care I have received from him has been second to none.

Dr. Michael Landau is amazing. I can't say enough how grateful I am for his care and kindness. Before coming to his office, I was experiencing hardship receiving quality care from my insurance assigned mental healthcare provider. After months of fighting with my insurance company for a second evaluation, I was on the edge of giving up. As a last attempt, I found Dr. Landau, and believe that he is the best decision I ever made when it comes to my overall mental health. He is the exact opposite of my horrible prior psychiatrist. He was prompt and helpful in addressing my questions and concerns. He was respectful of my time by making sure my needs were all met. He is honest, yet funny, and knows how to make you feel comfortable. He doesn't make you feel judged unlike my prior psychiatrist, and I felt his sincerity of providing me the best medical advice as a doctor. I felt that he cares about my long term holistic health, rather than just treating me as a temporary patient. Dr. Landau… also as extensive experience and educational background to qualify him as the best in his field. I definitely plan on having him as my permanent psychiatrist, and strongly believe I will make positive changes and progress under his care.
