I have been to a Physician Assistant, a Family doctor and finally to DR Lawler. They were all very nice providers but Dr Lawler got to my problem quickly and resolved the issue. He took time to listen and was kind but also got the results. I work in the healthcare field and I'm quite familar with medical providers. Dr Lawler is a step above the rest and his credentials are terrific. I would highly recommend this very kind, gentle physician. He gets results and Southern Illinois is very fortunate to have this MD.

He listened and was caring and smart. I really enjoyed how he calmed me down and gave me the options I needed. I will be recommending him to the rest of my family and friends.

Dr. Michael Lawler is definitely a committed professional. He takes his time with me in the examining room often spending 15-20 minutes. He reviews my medications each time. He reviews my last visit and then proceeds to the reason for the current visit. He records everything himself on a computer in the room. He also always conducts a brief physical exam. He is polite, extremely courteous, and Marion is lucky to have him.
