Dr. Michael Steven Layne, MD

Dr. Michael Layne is a family medicine physician with specialized training in internal medicine and hospital medicine. He earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. With 18 years of practice experience, Dr. Layne brings extensive expertise to comprehensive patient care across multiple medical settings.

Dr. Layne practices at EVMS Ghent Family Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia, and maintains affiliations with both Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and Sentara Leigh Hospital. His clinical focus includes managing high blood pressure and Type 2 diabetes.
