Dr. Michael Alan Layton, MD

I do NOT recommend pulmonologist Dr Michael Layton in Sebastian. Dr Layton refused to order the necessary diagnostic test for my symptoms because I didn't "fit the profile." Thankfully, my new PCP in Sebastian ordered the necessary test and I'm now receiving treatment for a chronic condition that Dr Layton failed to diagnose.

The staff & doctor are great - he takes time to explain all my issues.

Took my mother to see Dr Layton today for the first time. We arrived shortly after 2 around 2:15. She was finally taken back to a room at 3:30 over an hour and 15 minutes in the waiting room. Granted the appoint was for 2:45 but still that was 45 minutes from that time before they took her back in. He did make time for two medical pill sales people during that time. They kept saying that he was running behind schedule if that's the case maybe he should have attended to his patients first and asked the sales people to come back at a later date or time . I hope our next visit is a little different

Have been a patient of Dr. Layton for approximately 6 years. Have never waited for more than 30 minutes to see him and his office staff has always been prompt and courteous. We feel that he is among the top in his field and trust his recommendations completely.
