Dr. Michael Worth Leathers, MD

Have seen Dr Leathers for over 8 yrs for knee problems. Had injections in knees for years but knees no longer responded. Thirty days ago had knee replacement. Have found Dr Leathers to be just as competent today as he was almost a decade ago. Have had 2 surgeries by him and each one has been successful. He is very concerned about each patient, is pleasant to family members. I would refer family and friends to him anytime.

He is a dreadful excuse for a physician. Reread your oath, Mike, you know, the one you swore to. Then, retire. It’s clear you are in it for the money now. You are a liar as is your receptionist. Pray your son doesn’t follow in your footsteps. Highly unethical excuse of a “doctor”. And, yes, he has malpractice suits as recent as 2018! If you let him touch you, I feel badly for you, because you’ll regret what you decided on for the rest of your life!

Dr Leathers jr is literally a dream of a dr! I had both sides of my ankle broken and a bone in the back snap. He did an amazing job fixing me! I had a friend recommend him and Dan from the surgery center on Alhambra blvd assured me Dr Leathers was great! When I felt overwhelmed he had me come in and reassured me the pain wouldn’t last forever. I’m in physical therapy now and he’s been so understanding about my slow healing process..Don’t listen to the negative comments. I’m so thankful for him.

He is RUDE, COLD AND EXTREMELY ARROGANT. He has NO bedside manners. I can't even say he is a good doctor as he was completely closed off once he made his decision. He needs to retire. Burnt to a crisp. Please save yourself and don't see this doctor unless you are able to put his uncaring treatment aside. HE WILL WALK OUT OF THE EXAM ROOM AS OTHERS HAVE STATED without saying a word! He doesn't have to be accountable..which is a shame! Shame on you!!

I’m not sure how he has received so many great reviews. It was because of these reviews I was so excited to have been referred to him for a broken hand and an injured shoulder. Three hours in the mornings and afternoons are for surgery, or so I’m told. I don’t believe anything Laurie or Dr. Leathers Sr says any more. Why they continue to accept new patients when his treatment of his existing patients is so poor, is for one reason only, money. He will leave your injuries untreated and you are left to “heal” with permanent deformities and loss of range of motion and hand/arm strength. His dishonest assistant will tell you he is “out… of the office, on vacation, completely booked” if he no longer wants to see you or if your health insurance is not up to par. They will try and “redirect” you, while you are still under his care, should you break your wrist or arm while still being “treated”. This is patient abandonment, pure and simple. They won’t even provide a list of alternate physicians, and he has no one on call for him when he is out of the office. Ludicrous! This “doctor” has personality deficits resulting in the immoral and unethical treatment of his patients. Please contact me privately and I will tell you who he really is so you won’t go through what I’m going through. Highly UNETHICAL “doctor”. Please retire, both you and your lying puppet, Laurie Poseley.

Excellent doctor administering corticosteroid injections in both knees every four months. Gentle, no pain, walk out of office with no knee pain.

Dr. Michael Leathers is truly an expert in his field, he repaired my badly damaged elbow with new redial head and with few months of PT was good as new.

He has operated on me twice, for two different problems, my wife once, and now I am sending my daughter for an ACL tear. I am satisfied and appreciate that he is not knife happy. He explains your options and lets you decide your course of action. Very mellow personality.
