Dr. Michael Paul Lexow, MD

Dr Lexow has been my husband and my doctor since he came to Topeka. My husband is in his 80’s and myself in my 70’s. I am a retired RN. We have ALWAYS been treated with the utmost respect and professionalism, with no stone left unturned. His office staff have been very helpful and always have returned our calls. We have been going to Dr Lexow since we moved here 8 years ago and he has been amazing. He remembers you even when you only go once a year and he is one of the best doctors that I have ever been to.

If you are in pain and need a physician to find answers, a creative way to help, or even a diagnosis please find another doctor. He will label you a pill chaser and then you are wasting your time. Finally found another physician who listens to me. I am now diagnosed with PMR and renal disease. I've been put on a pain relieving regiment and physical therapy.

Hands down, the most awful care I have ever received. i will be finding a new doctor asap. The whole experience from start to finish has been terrible on three different occasions.

Dr. Lexow and his staff are wonderfully friendly, compassionate and helpful. My husband recently died from brain cancer and Dr. Lexow was so helpful and patient when answering questions and concerns I had when no one else would help.

He is a wonderful doctor and his staff is amazing. When ever you call or need something you will always get a call back. I would recommend this doctor to anyone and encourage anyone seeking a doctor to call HIS office!

Dr. Lexo actually told my son who suffers from misdiagnosed LYMES disease that he could not afford to be treated by him. He labeled my son a pill chaser and denied him treatment for the unimaginable pain he suffers with on a daily basis. How can someone who has probably used our tax money to gain grants to get his license be allowed to treat an individual in such a manner as this. We as a nation need a health care plan that would force these dr's to help people or lose their license for the mere inability to have compassion for someone's situation. Not everyone can be an insurance case that you can reap the rewards of insurance gouging and unnecessary tests, but to take a young man in the prime of his life at 25yrs of age and not even offer him a strand of hope because he can't afford you is inhumane at the very least.

Absolutely awesome doctor who cares about his patients. Too bad he worked in a horrible doctors office. Leavenworth lost a great doctor when he went to Topeka. If he was closer I would continue to see him. I hope he is happy and found a better working environment than what he was in here. Thank you Dr. Lexow I miss you.

Our patient is a mid-30's male with very complicated condition. Dr. Lexow has been easy to get in to see, coordinates very well with all the specialists, answers ALL our questions (even anticipates questions that will come up after the appointment), and returns phone calls in a timely manner.
