Dr. Michael Wang Lin, MD

I went to see Dr. Lin since 2013. My A1C is always above 7, with high proteinuria and numb feet. He considered it does not matter and I believed him falsely. I asked him many time to get insulin. Last year he finally prescribed long lasting insulin 30 unit and Repaglinde 0.5. However my A1C was still high especially after meal. He changed Repaglinde to 2.0 instead of prescribing rapid acting mealtime insulin. Then I got swollen feet and my urine looked like water. When I informed him the side effects he told me to find another doctor. It takes couple of months to get an appointment from another Endocrinologist. He did not care what I am going to do before I can see another doctor. I wasted 10 years seeing this kind of doctor and put my health in danger.

I have seen Dr. Lin over six years, he is very brief. The blood test report he only saw AIC and ignored all other abnormal results. When AIC is high, he changed medicine to high dosage, he did not care the reaction. I had to asked him to use insulin to reduce my blood sugar from 7+ for many years to 6+ recently. I asked him about high Proteinuria, he did not do anything. About a year he did not do urine test for me, recently my urine looks like water, I have to wait to see nephrology myself. I also informed him that I have numb feet, he did not do anything or say anything. Recently I have numb hands too, I am worry about dialysis and amputation.

Dr. Lin is a specially good doctor, friendly, knowledgeable, answers all questions... my wife studies diabetes as a PhD researcher, he is always up to date with the new journals and research. To tell the truth, I would go to him even if he was lesser, because he helped me when I needed it... He is more like the old time doctors, except more knowledgeable in his field.

He take the time to listen. ..very polite and explain any questions you ask.

I have been seeing my prior endocrinologist for over 25 years. Due to his health reasons, I could no longer see him. I am very happy I have found Dr. Lin. His office runs very efficiently and I am very pleased with the care I have received. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Lin is fantastic! He is extremely knowledgeable about diabetes (my own problem) and seems to know about all of the latest treatments (some really excellent ones) that other docs don't seem to have heard of. He's also extremely personable and is really interested in his patients. I highly recommend him!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lin for 10 years. He is caring, and kind. He treats you like you are his only patient. He is up to date on new medications and very willing to listen. Great doctor that takes time to show with concern.

Dr. Lin is an great doctor. Thus far, he help properly treat and manage my medical condition better than my primary treating physician.
