Dr. Michael Carl Loar, MD

Dr. Loar is outstanding. In an era where more and more doctors rush their patients in and out of appointments, Dr. Loar is the rare exception. Dr. Loar truly spends time with his patients getting to know them and their families and provides exceptional medical care. I cannot recommend Dr. Loar enough.

Dr.Loar is a wonderful respectful pediatrician. Im so glad i found him . He has now seen my newborn daughter a couple times now and i cant be more happy and confident in his decisions on her health when i leave. He is one of the very few nice kind doctors left. He really shows hes not in it for the money type dpctor . He shows he loves what he does ! He loves kids ! Hes always so kind and patient. He takes time with u and expkains everything and answers any questions. Makes u feel like hes a family friend. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a good pediatrician!.

Dr. Loar is simply an amazing doctor! My wife and I met with him a few months prior to her giving birth to our first child. We wanted to find an excellent pediatrician and were very impressed by him. He met with us after office hours and answered an array of questions we had. He couldn't have been more professional and caring. He has nearly 30 years of experience and you can easily tell that he has a true passion for his work. He's available 24/7 which is extremely rare these days. He have called him after hours several times and he has returned our call within minutes. Dr. Loar is a sole proprietor, so you only see him and he takes a personal interest in your child's well being. He always takes the time to make sure all your questions and concerns are addressed during the appointment. Same day appointments are always available for sick children. My family can't say enough great things about Dr. Loar and would highly recommended him to anyone looking for a truly caring, experienced and… personable pediatrician.

I moved here from another state just before my son turned one. I had a great dr before and I was nervous to find a new one. So I set up an appointment to meet Dr. Loar before deciding to choose him and he was just wonderful!! He or his nurses returns calls very quickly after calling and I am always able to get in for an appointment if my son is sick. He is very great with my baby and ALWAYS explains things to me. Im extremely happy I chose him!!! Oh and the nurses in his office are so sweet!

Dr. Loar is the best. We've had him from the time our first son was born, and now we've moved to another state--we miss him. I'm trying to find a doctor here. It is so hard to find a pediatrician who is competent but not creepy as well as sincerely compassionate toward your children--Dr. Loar is just that! In additin, he shares our Christian values and my kids loved him and how he interacted with them. I hope I find someone here who can compare. I highly recommend Dr. Loar to anyone who wants a doctor who loves your kids, doesn't rush you, and knows what he's talking about.

Dr.Loar is a one of a kind doctor! There just aren't doctors like him around anymore! He has taken care of my children from birth!He is loving,kind, and genuinely cares! He is not one of 4,6,or 8...He is always the one sees you!He is the last of the truly great doctors! Your children are always treated like one of his own.He is amazing!!!!!

My family and I just moved to Columbus, near the Dublin area. I procrastinated trying to find a doctor because I know how hard it can be to find one that actually seems to care for each child. I found Dr. Loar in my search and decided to go for it because of the excellent reviews that I had seen online and I am so glad that I took my kids to him!Dr. Loar has a very good bedside manner and truly made the kids and me feel like he cares about them. I had to take my daughter to the bathroom while he was examining my four year old son, and when I got back, the two of them were sitting on the floor, chatting it up like they were old pals. It was quite cute, and I knew, then, that he was a good fit for my children. Not to mention that, even after shots, my son kept THANKING me for taking him to the doctor! That speaks volumes, in my opinion.

Always makes time to ensure we understand things and follows up with any concerns we have.

Dr. Loar is an amazing pediatrician. I can always get a same day appointment and am not waiting a long time. The nurses are personable and caring and make you feel like a friend not a patient. Dr. Loar responds within minutes of an evening hours phone call. I wouldn't feel as assured with any other Dr. as I am with Dr. Loar. He was also my Pediatrician growing up and I couldn't see us using anyone else for the care of our two toddlers.
