I have been a patient of Dr Loar for over 30 years and unfortunately I moved to Arizona one year ago and have been looking for the same quality care here. I am now 81 and I know that the advice and care that he gave me contributed to my current good health. Dr Loar provided quality responsive care with personal attention along with referrals to the best specialists when required.

Dr. Loar is caring and thorough in his questioning to help understand my health concerns. He quickly saw through my admittedly unique symptoms and ordered tests that saved my life when I had 90% coronary blockage. He delivered both my daughters, and has given our entire family outstanding care over the years. He and his associates and staff are excellent.

I've been a patient of Dr. Michael Loar for many years. I've moved to Out of Littleton to a different Metro city but have always continued at his office. It's worth the trip through Denver traffic! I also have a home out of state and travel about 275 days a year. He's caring and thorough, tech savvy but caring - great blend of modern and up-to-date with the best characteristics of old-fashioned family physician. His office has a unique & efficient system of contact by e-mail for test results, proactive healthcare reminders, prescription refills, etc.

I had to wait about 30 minutes to get into my appointment and then another 15 minutes until the Doc came to see me, which isn't any big deal. However, during the visit, the Dr's demeanor could have been alot better.He seemed more interested in his new computer than me. He would ask questions and then take moments to enter various fields on his computer. When he did reply or say something, it was rather short, and his replies were somewhat uncaring, almost to the point of being aloof or obtuse, which was a bit unsettling. Bottom line, imo, he needs to spend more time listening to, examining and conversing with his patients, rather than delving into his new technological gadgets (computer in this case). With today's high cost medical care, having a receptive ear, and responding with understanding and common courtesy, should be standard practice. For me, during my visit, it was not. So, I could not recomend him to friends or family. My standards are not that high, but I expect better.
