After years of suffering I was one of the lucky one to have him as my Lupus Doctor. Thank you so much Dr. Lockshin for the time you put into my horrible disease because of you care I'm still here. ???

Dr. Lockshin the best of the best I was one of the luckiest to have him as my lupus dr. always very courteous ,spend time listen to all my complaining, when i starting seeing him i really thought i was not going to survive this disease, but he was always there helping me through it.. God really did bless me, allowing me to have him as my doctor..

8 years ago Dr. Lockshin saved my life. I came into NYP emergency room with severe nerve damage and partial paralysis in my hands and legs. After 2 years of searching for a diagnosis he took one look at me, pulled out his pen and wrote on a small piece of paper "Polyarteritis Nodosa". He is extremely cool under pressure. He speaks in a whisper, but mark my words, what he has to say may be the most important words you ever hear in your life!

I was taken aback by the other reviewer because my experience with Dr. Lockshin over many years has been so wonderful. He is very very smart, smart enough to say he does not know something for sure instead of telling me lies. He always spends a great deal of time with me answering my many many questions to the best of his abilities.

This doctor was rude and punitive! I chose him because of his experience and background in the area of women and lupus. I paid out of pocket to see him as he did not accept my insurance. I paid $500 to be told, "move to florida" since cold weather exaccerbates my symptoms.
