Summary
A good interaction with a provider and a patient are essential in internal medicine and perhaps more so in gastroenterology. I enjoy the specialty fully from the mutual problem solving of a particular condition to treating a concerning lesion with the endoscope. When I'm not working or playing with my family, I can be found reading short stories or fishing.
