Seeing Dr. Michael Louwers truly changed how I feel about medical care. From the moment we spoke, I felt heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. He didn’t rush, dismiss, or minimize anything — instead, he took the time to really listen and meet me where I was. Dr. Louwers has a rare combination of exceptional medical expertise and deep human compassion. He explains things clearly, answers every question with patience, and makes you feel safe and supported throughout the entire process. I felt like I wasn’t just another patient — I felt like I mattered. His care gave me hope at a time when I truly needed it. If you are struggling and looking for a physician who is not only incredibly skilled, but genuinely invested in your healing, I cannot recommend Dr. Louwers strongly enough.

DR Louwers was an amazing DR when I first starting seeing him about 7-8 months ago. Then he became a pompous A$$! My husband was recently laid off, we still have insurance. DR Louwers keeps pushing for me to have injections & surgery. When and where would he like me to get the money for either one of these? We just changed our insurance and have not even meet our deductible yet! I have TRIED many time explaining this to DR Louwes but it goes on def ear. Maybe, just MAYBE when my husband goes back to work I can arrange treatments and surgery? Recently when I went in for my monthey visit he actually said to me, "I'm DONE with you!" Are you kidding me?? You WORK for me!! Don't get it twisted! Just UNBELIEVABLE! I thought Cleveland Clinic was bad!

Doc gave me a shot, fixed my sciatic pain. THANKS!

Best doctor I have ever been to

I was initially unsure of going to a pain doc. I was worried he would just do steroid shots, or prescribe pills. I was pleasantly surprised. He was warm and welcoming. He listened and made several recommendations. He was not pushy or forceful, but gave me options that we discussed. I started with physical therapy (his therapist is great!) and I did so well I did not need to return. thanks, Dr. Louwers and Sean (PT)

I received IMMEDIATE proper care from Dr. Louwers. With all the drug problems these days, he listened very carefully & well & knew right away that I needed help! I can’t thank him enough!!! He’s made my life tolerable! THANK YOU!!!!

Was worried going into the pain center that I was going to be forced into procedures or pills. This doctor gave me a lot of recommendations and a very comprehensive approach to my treatment. I was very pleased. I was able to do therapy, take a short course of medication and was feeling better in no time. He gave me great tips and a brace to wear. I didn’t even need any surgery

I didn’t expect pain that I’ve had for 10 years to be “fixed“. But this doctor did explain my condition to me. Explained why it was chronic. He didn’t excellent job of helping me to understand how to manage chronic pain without just injections or medications but a more well-rounded approach. I was very pleased.
