Dr. Michael Gerard Ludlow, MD

After giving this MD several opportunities to treat my healthcare needs, I have determined that my needs are better met with a different professional. My last appointment, I waited for 50+ minutes to see Dr. Ludlow. As a nurse myself, I understand that unexpected events may arise, but I honestly feel that this office over schedules appointments in the name of making money. Also, the person who took my vital signs took my b/p with a cuff meant for an obese person, which gave a hugely inaccurate result, 193/97. When I pointed this out she retook it manually and the result was 110/64... Once he came into the room, it was obvious he felt rushed. He didn't thoroughly examine me and didn't ask if anything else needed to be addressed. He took less than 5 minutes to see me (which is about all he did was to see that I was sitting there) and when I brought up other concerns he didn't even address them. I am younger, but have several health issues at this time and was VERY put-off that he… doesn't seem to care enough to listen to my concerns. I don't schedule an appointment just for the heck of it. After I left his office this last time, I called my insurance company and voiced my displeasure with him as a physician and immediately switched primary care physicians. I feel sorry for any patient who feels that he is doing them a service, because in my opinion he is less than adequate than the majority of physicians I have ever been to, or have had the pleasure to work with.

Dr Ludlow has been my doctor for over 20 years. He is very caring, has a wonderful personality and is very knowledgable in the health field. I would very highly recommend him to anyone.
