I have been with Dr. Lumberg for 18 years. What I like most about Dr. Lumberg is that he is willing to have a conversation about treatments. For example, I have high cholesterol. He is willing to help me use means other than drugs to lower it. He balances the concern for my health with a reasonable approach. I hope to be with him until he retires.

Dr. Lumberg is a very thorough doctor and a very good communicator. He explains things well and follows up with issues very promptly. I highly recommend him as a primary care physician.

This is a doctor who really listens to his patients. Referred friends and family to him multiple times.

My husband and I were lucky to have Dr. Lumbers as our Internist. He was thorough and genuinely caring. I wish we could find another doctor like him here in NC.

Dr. Lumberg has far been my favorite doctor ever. Prior to finding him, I really didn't care what doctor I went to. Other doctors just never took the time to explain things or really listen to my questions or concerns. Doctor Lumberg always takes the time to listen to any questions or concerns that I have. He doesn't rush through anything and spends as much time with me as needed to make sure I understand everything. He is an awesome, awesome doctor! I have recommended him to other people and they love his as well.

My experience with Dr. Lumberg has been truly amazing. I have a lot going on with all my medical conditions, he listens and spends time with me, and is always professional/kind. I've been seeing him for about 9 years and will continue to stay. As a side note, everyone who works at Troy Internal is very nice and always willing to get you in, if you have an emergency.
