Still paranoid about COVID requiring masks, allowing seating only on every other seat, & required proof of COVID vaccinations before allowing me to accompany my husband to appointment. Doesn't listen. Got upset because my husband had wet himself & was sitting in "his" chair telling me he did not appreciate it and to not let my husband sit on any furniture. Disrespectful. Will not return

REFRAIN FROM GOING HERE AT ALL COSTS. The staff is SO unbelievably rude & unprofessional. My insurance isn’t allowing a prescription anymore, which I was FINALLY told after 4 times calling. I spoke to Maria, the doctors WIFE on the phone & have never experienced such awful customer service in my life. I spoke to someone yesterday in the office & she asked everyone if they spoke to me & I heard all of them say “no”. She wouldn’t listen to one thing I was saying, put me on hold 3 different times without notice, kept talking over me, cutting me off, telling me what I was doing wrong & then proceeds to say “We’re swamped we’ll call you back” & flat out hung up on me. HUNG UP ON ME! That’s not how you treat your patients. After reading the other reviews, it all makes sense. I’m a type 1 diabetic & it’s already frustrating... having to deal with such a rude staff member is not ok. Your patients are sick & they are just looking for help. Other than his rude wife, I liked Dr MacAdams &… the nurse you see beforehand. Too bad the staff at the front ruin it.

I had a good experience at Dr. Macadam's office today. His staff was friendly and pleasant. I was seen promptly. Dr. actually asked me what I thought was wrong with me and why I thought the way I did. He asked me about what I thought I wanted to do for treatment. I felt like my voice was actually heard for a change and it was nice to feel I had agency in that way.

The staff is beyond rude and impossible. I have a rare endocrine disease that most doctors, let alone nurses or ignorant receptionists, know nothing about. Dr. MacAdams seems very knowledgeable, so it's disappointing that his staff is so awful. I can never get anyone to call me back and sensitivity seems to be something they've never heard of.

Had to come from Amarillo - app. At 1pm didn’t get me in until 4:15 (all other patients in waiting room state this is typical) when he finally saw me spent maybe 5min and just prescribed rx (2 diff pharm reps there stock piling his rx closet) and I didn’t want to get on rx I wanted try other options & he would not help me at all - just states take rx that’s all he can do for me. Then charged almost $400 (self pay) for that 5min talk. His office staff is rude - literally go see anyone but him.

Doctor failed to transmit test results to my primary care physician. As a result when it was time for prescription renewal there was needless delay, frustration and anxiety. The staff is not very helpful and even rude.

I read all of the reviews and was dreading going to this office. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The office was very clean and tidy and the receptionist was very kind. The only negative experiences that I had was the wait time. I was referred to this office by my primary care physician for suspicious nodules on my thyroid. I was given an appointment the same day. All of the staff were very courteous and helpful. They answered all of our questions without hesitation. Dr. MacAdams has over 30 years experience and it shows. He performed the necessary test quickly and I did not experience any pain or discomfort thanks to his expertise. I was told we would receive the results of the biopsy in about two weeks. He has a great sense of humor and calmed our fears. I would certainly recommend this office.
