Dr. Michael Joseph Malotte, MD

Went to the Dr as my primary car Dr recommended. Was fully aware of my copay, but not the almost $300.00 extra charge on my bill. When I called the billing office concerning this problem, she informed me that they have no duty to inform a patient that they are about to do a $300.00 procedure, that literally took no more than 3 minutes from start to finish. This is a scam. They don't tell you anything, you are made to believe its part of the exam, then you get your bill. Stay away from this Dr. Find someone with some morals. Hope that extra $300.00 was worth losing a patient over.

I've seen Dr. Malotte several times for an ongoing issue. I have never had a problem getting an appointment, and usually wait only a few minutes to see him. He's always been friendly, personable, and very interested in answering questions and reassuring me about my diagnosis. I would highly recommend him.

I only waited 15 min, and Dr Malotte apologized for that. I had a procedure done that he expertly did , and joked around to relieve my anxiety. I have seen him as a patient several times, and he has always been caring, given me options, and very professional. Thank you for all that!

I would not recommend scheduling an appointment with Dr. Malotte. Not only did I wait about 25 minutes to see him, but my total appointment time was less than five minutes. I visited him to correct a deviated septum that has caused me breathing problems my entire life. He quickly told me that I would need to take nasonex everyday for six weeks before he'd consider surgery to correct my nose. He then proceeded to exit the examination room, upon which I told him that I'd like to know the details of the surgery, seeing as I had already used nasal sprays with no such success. He then told me that he didn't want to discuss that until my next appointment. Overall, Dr. Malotte didn't listen to any of my concerns or desires. I expressed concerns about being dependent on any sort of drug seeing as I am moving abroad, and that surgery (which I later found out would likely correct my breathing by 90%) was most likely the best option for me. I felt that he quickly dismissed my opinions and was… more concerned about prescribing me medications than he was correcting the actual issue at hand. It was easily the worst experience I've ever had with any physician.

Was told I needed hearing aids, though I'm relatively young and don't really have hearing problems. Discovered that his office has another division that sells hearing aids. Always feel rushed during the appointments (after waiting to go in a loooong time).
