Summary
Dr. Marchick joined the UF faculty in 2010 following the completion of an Emergency Medicine Research Fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Prior to fellowship, Dr. Marchick graduated from Duke with a B.S. in Chemistry, received his M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Carolinas. Dr. Marchick's research interests focus on pulmonary embolism. He has been a co-investigator on several clinical trials for PE and conducts basic science research into the pathophysiology of acute pulmonary hypertension resulting from PE. In his spare time, Dr. Marchick enjoys spending time with his wife Kendra, their son, Nathan, and their dog. He is an avid college football and basketball fan.
